The reusable Self-heating laminating vacuum bag (SHBR) comes in the form of a flexible envelope equipped with a simple, fast and airtight closure system as well as a vacuum exhaust system over its entire internal surface. It enables deairing of complexes and is suitable for high temperatures. Many users around the world are satisfied with this tool.

This patented vacuum bag has its own heating system – therefore no oven is required.

Technical characteristics

The vacuum bag and its accessories are vulcanised in bulk (similar to tire manufacturing process), giving them very high strength and great flexibility.

Quick and simple closure: rubber profile gasket, giving it optimal sealing

The anti-stick internal exhaust layer is cleaned by wiping with a rag – no interlayer adheres. This anti-pollution system allows the glass to have more clarity and transparency when leaving the bag and avoids the need for frequent cleaning of the bag’s interior.

Performance

SHBR vacuum bags are used in manual flat laminating processes, for lightly curved glass, glass with perforations, inserts, different thicknesses and sizes, various shapes and for laminating several pieces of glass at a time.

With no need to heat an entire machine to laminate your glass, this bag therefore saves energy.

SHBR vacuum bags are especially suitable for small production and for research and development.

SHBR bags are suitable for temperatures up to 140°C / 285°F.

The bags allow an optimal vacuum of -0.99 mbar to be obtained.

Their quick and simple closure system limits handling time and prevents scratching the glass when closing.

They are used horizontally on a table or support adapted to their dimensions.

The vacuum bag’s complex has been specially developed to permit excellent thermal conductivity and thereby limit cycle time.

It is a versatile laminating and deairing tool, robust and with a very long life span.

The use of reusable bags makes it possible to limit the ecological footprint and reduce production costs by depreciation.

Composition

The bag is divided into 3 areas:

  • The body of the bag is anti-stick and provides exhaust. In contact with the glass, it provides optimal processing.
  • Quick and convenient seal closure
  • Exhaust system with Ø10 notched vacuum socket.

Our technical department designs vacuum bags adapted to your needs. We make vacuum bags that can reach dimensions of 6600X2600mm. Do not hesitate to share your problems with us (storage, environment, temperature, positioning in the furnace). We will add eyelets, fastening tabs for vertical bags, marking, specific vacuum fittings, sheaths for lifting strap, exhaust grills, etc.)
